BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB
The Cerritos Elementary School Birthday Book Club (BBC), established in 1989, has played a key role in adding thousands of new books to our school library. You can honor your child’s birthday by purchasing a book from a specially curated selection by Mrs. Green, our school librarian, to be donated to the Cerritos Elementary Library.
During our monthly BBC celebration, your child will be welcomed by our dedicated volunteer team, choose a book to donate, personalize a commemorative bookplate, and place it inside the book. They'll also have their photo taken as a keepsake, enjoy refreshments, and participate in fun activities.
Your donation not only creates a memorable experience for your child but also helps grow our library and allows students for years to come to enjoy your meaningful gift.
Please look for the BBC Invitation from your child's teacher/take-home folder several weeks before their BBC celebration to sign up. The sign up link is also included below.
*Please note TK/K Students with birthdays in July and August will be invited to attend the 9/25/25 BBC due to early dismissal days*
